Workshop Details
Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) is an emerging theme in Pakistan and internationally. The significance has increased manifolds as the risk and compliance landscape is evolving and demands not only a robust GRC function but also an agile GRC mindset. In this interactive workshop, we will focus on how you can achieve an agile GRC function, methodology, and most importantly the mindset. Enterprise risk management and its interlock with the GRC umbrella is necessary to achieve efficiencies and we will cater to this in our workshop as to how to bring a balance practically.
The ‘Agile Governance, Risk and Compliance – A Unique Dimension’ workshop aims to provide ‘practical knowledge and the training will focus only on practical aspects (no theories) and the program will be catered through a purpose-built Toolkit and Model.

About the Trainer
Mr. Aamir Shaukat Hussain is a chartered accountant and a consultant with 19 years of experience. He is an international trainer, public speaker, LinkedIn influencer, and mentor. Aamir has provided training in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Pakistan through platforms such as the International Finance Corporation (UK), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (Oman), the Aga Khan Development Network, the Institute of Bankers Pakistan, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Aamir also provides training to the Board of Directors of listed companies on emerging trends, enterprise risk management, and cybersecurity governance. Besides this Aamir has also conducted several in-house training sessions for multiple banks.
He distinguishes himself by providing practical and interactive training with the tagline ‘just practical – no theories’. His storytelling style and use of gamification, quizzes, polls, and case studies create an interactive environment. Aamir has been a board member at Aga Khan Agency for Habitat and is serving on various forums at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Aamir is the Founder of Value Source LLP which provides outsourced accounting and consulting services. Previously he has worked in senior management roles in the Banking Industry. Aamir has also worked with PwC for more than a decade.
