May-2011: The ISACA Karachi Chapter was awarded the Best-Newsletter-Award (Large Chapters Category) by ISACA international at the ISACA Global Leadership Conference 2011, held in Las Vegas, US in May this year. The award was presented by Mr. Emil D’Angelo (President ISACA international) to Mr.Waqar A. Khan (President ISACA Karachi Chapter).
Commenting on the award, Mr.Waqar A Khan said that “We are honored. The Award recognizes our efforts & dedication regarding continuous publication of chapter activities in a manner that competes with newsletters of other large chapters internationally”.

The newsletter contains full coverage of ISACA Karachi Chapter activities and information about upcoming events, aims to give our chapter members an insight into our broader work and also aims to inspire them to become more involved in Chapter activities.
As a key communication tool the Newsletter illustrates that our objective for publication is not only to create awareness about ISACA’s local & international activities to chapter members & non-members as well (which includes community of IT/IS Security Consultants, Auditors, Experts and IT Gurus in the region).
The newsletter is published & sent to members bi-monthly and is also updated on the chapter website regularly. Previous editions of the newsletter are also available on the Chapter’s website.
